Artist’s Note

The brain is extraordinary. It carries your memories, instinct and imagination all at once. It can run simulations, replay the past, invent things that have never existed. Every thing that we know, wheather it be a building or a plan of the futute started the same way - as something worked through and imagined before it showed up in the world. I don’t think of design as something reserved for art or buildings. It’s happening all the time, inside the mind through what we pay attention to and what we give space to grow. 

We’re carving our lives continuously, and we rarely acknowledge how much our brain is doing. It’s not just reacting to the world, it's curating it. Every time you choose kindness, or linger on a beautiful detail and protect hope rather than letting your cynicism win, you’re laying down a path for a better version of you.
