Beyond the Frame…

Ancient cultures have always drawn me in… their ways of approaching health, community, and the beliefs that quietly guide daily life. There is something profound in how they manage to leave a more lasting imprint on their people than most of us ever do.

I see them as ever-burning flames… steady, unextinguished across centuries, carrying culture and spirit forward through time without fading.

This drawing came together slowly… because the eyes would not be rushed. Eyes hold everything without effort. They carry stories, even time itself. In this portrait, my aim was for his gaze to become the true center… the place where the viewer finally meets the soul of the man.
