As I worked on this portrait, I wanted to capture the weight in his expression. It isn't a look of judgment or disappointment, but one of deep, seasoned understanding. He is the personification of the voice that tells you to push harder and keep going when the world feels heavy.

I’ve always been moved by his philosophy in Rocky Balboa... the idea that nobody hits as hard as life itself. But, as he reminds us, it isn’t about the strength of the hit you deliver—it’s about how much you can take and still keep moving forward. This drawing is a tribute to that endurance... the quiet, stubborn refusal to stay down.
